Telework: the Equal Opportunities Committee has received some suggestions from RdB

Subject: Draft Telecommuting

In reference to comments on the draft sent by the Telework Coordinator RDB Mr. Franco Ferrari on December 17, 2008 , the Equal Opportunities Committee, which met on 18 December 2008 ( attached minutes), after extensive discussion unanimously decided to make to the document on the Project Telework the following changes:

L ' ART. 5 of the document "Reconciling work and family life - Positive action: telework. Access policies for teleworking, "is amended as follows:

1. "preconditions" is replaced with "priority conditions"

2. He adds: "In the case of applicants than the number of positions, the Administration will use the selection criteria as Art.4, section 3 of Act June 16, 1998, N191 (the National Framework Agreement on telework in government).

E 'was finally considered by the Committee the situation of those workers who, despite being in possession the subjective requirements for access to the telework project, playing a 'non-teleworker, in fact it would be excluded. To meet these employees with special problems of conciliation, is proposed that the administration suitable individuals for the future of internal mobility solutions that enable them to gain access to the project.

MINUTES OF December 18, 2008

On 18 December 2008, at 11:00 am, meets at the seat assigned, in Piazzale Barezzi 3, the Equal Opportunities Committee of the University of Parma, with the following agenda:

a) Notices.
2) Modification of the experimental project of Telework under the plan of affirmative action.
3) Formation meeting held by the lawyer. Elena Bigotti, trusted advisors of our university.
4) Any other business.

the absence: Simona Bertocchi, Ilaria Comelli, Goffrini Paola, Chiara Petrolini, Samantha Pighi. Fiammetta Mamoli

1. Communications
Fiammetta Mamoli announced that the text of the Code of Conduct, approved by the members of the CPO 23.10.2008, was sent to the Rector. The components of the PCO would like the final approval could occur as soon as possible.

2. Fiammetta Mamoli introduced a letter received by President of the Coordination RdB Franco Ferrari. The letter, also sent to the Chief of Staff Angelo Aliani and the Deputy Rector Guido Cristini, invites the CPO to consider some changes to the document Telecommuting "that enable them to maintain the basic system of the project as outlined, while avoiding challenges that could slow the process or even to question its applicability."
Anna Maria Fuganti adds that, during the last session of decentralized bargaining, has identified several criticisms of the document.

After extensive and thorough discussion, Committee members unanimously decided to amend the text as follows:

5 - Submission of
The application for participation in positive action “Telelavorando” è di natura volontaria.
La domanda, unitamente al progetto compilato con il Responsabile della Struttura, deve specificare la sussistenza delle seguenti situazioni debitamente documentate che costituiscono i requisiti prioritari per l’accesso all’ azione positiva “Telelavorando”:
· esigenze di cura di figli minori di 11 anni, esigenze di cura di famigliari o conviventi, debitamente certificate;
· distanza chilometrica dall’abitazione alla sede di lavoro.

Nella domanda occorre inoltre dichiarare di essere in grado di utilizzare le tecnologie informatiche indispensabili per telelavorare. L’Amministrazione si riserva di effettuare random checks on the stated requirements for admission to the project. The
